What am I up to?

plum coffeecake

Besides being a tardy blogger and juggling about a gazillion things at the moment?  Well, baking this stuff is one.  What are they?  Plum coffeecakes!  Tender crème fraîche batter, fragrant slices of plum, buttery crumb on top, baked into the cutest little loaf pans I brought home from Paris.

Yes, the recipe would be great. They do look good. I’ve been experimenting also with coffee type cakes using fruit. Right now we have guavas to deal with here in Hawaii.

Wow, they looks wonderful! And let’s all notice they haven’t even been baked yet. And we’re still drooling. So jealous of those pans! I know you had a fabulous time in Paris, and we can’t wait to hear all about it!

Yes, Why do you illustrate beautiful food without a recipe we can try at home? It’s not the first time.

I LOVE those little pans! I’m not the most avid baker, but I think those pans could turn me around . . .
