It looks like you have started on a delicious visit to the east coast. Only to the city? Or will you be visiting other areas as well? Have a great trip!
Hi–If you are downtown in the East Village I can show you around. Or at least have a great coffee. Glad you are enjoying yourself
You know, I love local ice cream – I eat too much Bi-Rite Creamery, and I love Mitchells, and I love Humphrey Slocombe – but I have to say…
that Grom… even though it is a chain “la horreur!”….
is pretty darn delicious. Particularly their blood orange sorbet, when they have it.
Pictures really do the trick here, don’t they?

It was so great to meet you in person at the restaurant and I hope you enjoyed your dinner! I wish we had more of an opportunity to chat. Best of luck with your upcoming endeavors and stop by the kitchen whenever you’re in town!
New York is one of my foodie destination dreams. So much to see with so little time. Hope you enjoy the experience.
Is that Abraco’s coffee I spy? Heehee ^_^
One of the best places to eat on Earth.
Try Cafe Mogador in the East Village. I’ll have a blog posted on it tomorrow. I think it’s right up your alley.
The food in the East Village is far better than anywhere else close-by.
Make sure to check out http://pardonmyvine.com so you know which wines to choose when you’re out in the East Village.

Hope you enjoy NYC! all the best and congratulation on the book…
